Party Bus Rentals in Merced: Search & Save
Partybusinfresno.com is not a bus company. It does not own vehicles, employ operators, or take reservations directly. It is a quote-comparison website — one place where you fill out a single form and instantly see vehicles, pictures, and pricing from a network of transportation companies serving Merced, the San Joaquin Valley, and the surrounding region.
Instead of calling company after company during business hours, describing your trip over and over, and waiting days for callbacks, you get a full look at available options in under a minute.
That means you are never locked into a single fleet. A Merced charter bus rental for 50, a 20-passenger party bus for a bachelorette crawl through downtown, a Sprinter van for an executive airport run to Fresno Yosemite International — whatever the trip calls for, you can compare vehicle types, amenity packages, and rates side by side and find exactly what fits. Call 559-223-9802 any time or use the online form to get started.
No pressure, no commitment — just fast, easy pricing for your actual trip.

Your Merced Party Bus With Popular Amenities
Not every Merced trip needs the same ride. A 25-passenger party bus typically comes loaded with LED lighting, a premium sound system with Bluetooth, flat-panel TVs, and wraparound perimeter seating — exactly what a birthday group or bachelorette group is after for a night out. A Sprinter van or limo is a cleaner fit for executive transfers or wedding party pickups, with leather seating, USB charging at every seat, and tinted windows.
Full-size charter buses are built for longer hauls — think a group trip from Merced to Yosemite Valley, a casino run to Table Mountain, or sports travel through the Central Valley — with reclining seats, overhead storage, climate control, and onboard restrooms on select vehicles. Amenities vary by bus and company, but the quote tool shows you exactly what each vehicle includes before you commit to anything.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats
AUX / Bluetooth Sound System
LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders
TVs and Entertainment Systems
Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. Get Merced Party Bus Rental Pricing
Merced party bus rental prices depend on three main variables: the vehicle type, the day of the week, and how many hours you need. A 25-passenger party bus runs approximately $250–$350 on weekdays and $275–$375 on weekend nights.
A full 40–56 passenger charter bus typically ranges from $200–$350 per hour. These are planning ranges — your actual quote moves with the date, the route, and what is available in the network on that day.

The Easy Way to Compare Merced Party Bus Rentals
Here is the honest case for using this site: organizing group transportation in Merced without a comparison tool means calling individual companies one at a time, hoping they pick up, describing your trip from scratch each time, waiting on callbacks, and trying to compare quotes that never quite line up on the same terms. That process can burn an entire afternoon and still leave you guessing whether you got a fair price.
Partybusinfresno.com replaces all of that with a single form and a result in under 30 seconds. You see vehicle photos, available amenities, and rates from multiple companies serving the Merced area — all in one place, with no account required. The network covers Merced and the surrounding Central Valley, which means strong availability even for dates that book up fast, like UC Merced graduation weekends in May, the Merced County Fair in June, and Yosemite peak season from June through August.
If a question comes up during the process, a support team is available every day of the year at 559-223-9802 to help you build a custom package. That is what makes Partybusinfresno.com the smarter starting point for any Merced group trip.
Group Transportation Services in Merced
From airport shuttles and wedding transportation to sporting event travel, concert shuttles, prom buses, corporate shuttles, and school field trips — whatever brings your group together in Merced, there is a bus in the network ready for it. Call 559-223-9802 and get your group moving.

Merced Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Merced Regional Airport (MCE) at 1860 MacArthur Drive handles limited commercial service, which means most Merced travelers flying regional or connecting cross-country route their trips through Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), roughly 60 miles south on CA-99. That is a manageable drive for one person but a real coordination headache for a group — someone has to drive, someone has to park (FAT daily parking runs $15–$22 depending on the garage), and everyone has to reassemble after arrivals stagger across different terminals and baggage claim carousels.
A Merced airport shuttle bus through this network solves the whole problem at once. A Sprinter van or minibus picks the group up from a single Merced location, runs straight to FAT, and drops everyone at the correct terminal curb — no parking cost, no separate cars, no missed connections. For larger conference groups flying into FAT and continuing to the UC Merced campus, a charter bus handles the full transfer in one load.
Read the FAT shuttle guide before your travel date for current pickup and drop-off procedures. Call 559-223-9802 to build your airport run.

Merced Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Merced's downtown strip along Main Street and nearby Olive Avenue has a real bar scene for a city its size — and for groups that want a full night out without anyone drawing straws over who drives home, a Merced bachelorette party bus is the obvious move. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus picks everyone up from a single address, handles the stops on your itinerary, and gets the whole group home without a single rideshare negotiation at 1 a.m.
For groups that want to extend the celebration into Fresno — Tower District bars, rooftop venues, or a casino night at Table Mountain — the bus makes a 60-mile run on CA-99 into a part of the night rather than a logistical obstacle. LED lighting, Bluetooth sound, and flat-panel TVs on a party bus keep the energy up from the first pickup. Weekend party bus rates in this size range run approximately $275–$375 per hour, with full-day packages available.
Call 559-223-9802 to check availability for your date.

Merced Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
Merced has a large and deeply rooted Latino community, and quinceañera celebrations here are full-scale events that can span multiple venues in a single day — from the church ceremony to a rented event hall to a restaurant dinner, sometimes all in different parts of town. Coordinating that across a guest list of 30 or 40 people without a dedicated shuttle means a chaotic caravan and late arrivals at every stop. A Merced birthday party bus rental keeps the whole family together, on schedule, and arriving at every stop as a group.
For Sweet 16 and adult milestone birthday groups, a 20- to 30-passenger party bus with LED lighting and a premium sound system is the kind of arrival that makes an impression. Vehicle color requests — white, black, or silver — are worth mentioning when you request your quote, especially for formal celebrations where the bus is part of the look. Weekend rates for a 20-passenger party bus run approximately $275–$350 per hour.
Fill out the form or call 559-223-9802 to compare available buses for your date.

Merced Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Merced does not have a large dedicated concert venue, which is exactly why a bus makes sense here — the best shows within reach are in Fresno, and getting there means 60 miles on CA-99 through some of the most heavily traveled freight corridor in California. Save Mart Center at Fresno State hosts the region's biggest touring acts, and parking on event nights means competing with thousands of other attendees for surface lots that fill within the first hour. A charter bus to Save Mart Center drops your group at the designated commercial vehicle entrance and stages nearby while you're inside.
Closer to home, Selland Arena in Fresno draws mid-size touring shows and events year-round. The surrounding downtown Fresno streets have limited metered parking and no dedicated commercial lot — a minibus handles drop-off cleanly without the parking scramble. For outdoor amphitheater shows or festival dates, check availability early: summer weekends in the Central Valley book fast.
Call 559-223-9802 to lock in your concert transportation.

Merced Corporate Event Transportation
UC Merced is the fastest-growing research university in the UC system, and its Castle Commerce Center campus location and growing conference calendar have made Merced a legitimate hub for regional corporate travel. Getting a team of 20 or 30 across town to the UC Merced Conference Center — or down CA-99 to a Fresno Convention Center event — without splitting into separate rental cars is exactly the kind of problem a Merced corporate transportation package solves.
A 15–35 passenger minibus is the practical fit for most Merced corporate shuttles: easy city maneuverability, climate control, overhead storage for laptop bags and presentation materials, and a clean, quiet ride between meeting locations. For larger team travel or conference transfers, a full charter bus keeps everyone on one schedule and eliminates the per-car parking costs that add up fast at downtown Fresno venues. Executive Sprinter vans are a strong fit for VIP airport transfers or small leadership team runs.
Whatever the configuration, a support team at 559-223-9802 can help you put together a corporate shuttle package for your dates.

Merced Private Event Transportation Services
The Merced County Fair runs every June at the Merced County Fairgrounds (900 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Merced, CA 95341), drawing tens of thousands of visitors across its 10-day run. Martin Luther King Jr Way and the surrounding neighborhood streets see heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic on peak weekend days — parking inside the fairgrounds fills early, and surrounding residential streets have permit restrictions that catch out-of-town visitors off guard. A Merced private event charter bus handles drop-off and pickup directly at the fairgrounds entrance so your group does not spend the first hour circling for a spot.
For large family reunions splitting time between Applegate Park and a private event hall, or church group outings moving between multiple Merced locations in a single day, a minibus or charter bus keeps everyone on the same schedule without the caravan coordination. Castle Air Museum at 5050 Aviation Ave in Atwater — just 7 miles north of downtown Merced — is another popular private group destination with plenty of space for oversized vehicles. Call 559-223-9802 to build your private event shuttle package.

Merced Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Merced Union High School, Golden Valley High School, and El Capitan High School all hold proms and homecoming events within a tight spring window — typically late April through mid-May — and demand for party buses across Merced County spikes hard during those six weeks. Groups that wait until March to start looking regularly find their preferred vehicle size unavailable or priced significantly higher than it would have been in January. For prom: book by January for a wider choice of rates and your first-choice bus.
A prom party bus rental in Merced is the move for groups of 15 to 30 — everyone meets at one address, the pre-party happens on the ride, and nobody has to worry about parking at the venue or coordinating pickups afterward. A 20-passenger party bus on a weekend night runs roughly $275–$350 per hour. Do not sit on this one — call 559-223-9802 and get your date locked in early.

Merced School Event & Field Trip Transportation
UC Merced, Merced College, and the Merced City School District all run regular field trips and campus group events that need reliable, right-sized transportation. A Merced school event bus rental through this network covers everything from a 15-passenger minibus for a small academic cohort to a full 56-passenger charter bus for a district-wide excursion.
Popular school group destinations include Castle Air Museum in Atwater (approximately 10 minutes north of the UC Merced campus), the Merced Multicultural Arts Center downtown, and longer runs to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco — about 2.5 hours west on CA-140 and I-580. Charter buses with overhead storage and onboard restrooms are the practical choice for longer distances, cutting down on rest stops and keeping the group on schedule. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network; just note it when you request your quote.
Fill out the form or call 559-223-9802 to discuss your school group's transportation needs.

Merced Sporting Event Transportation
UC Merced Bobcats compete in the NAIA's California Pacific Conference across multiple sports, and home game days on the campus off Lake Road bring concentrated traffic onto the campus approach roads — a campus designed for pedestrians and small vehicles, not a parade of individual cars arriving simultaneously. A charter bus or minibus drops the group at a single point near the athletic facilities and eliminates the parking search entirely.
For fans making the run to Fresno for Fresno State Bulldogs games at Valley Children's Stadium or Bulldog Stadium, CA-99 southbound gets heavy on game days — especially when kickoff or first pitch falls on a Friday evening, when the corridor is already carrying end-of-week freight and commuter traffic. A Merced sporting event charter bus takes that drive off the group's plate entirely. The Valley Children's Stadium bus rental guide has venue-specific drop-off and parking details worth reviewing before your game day.
Call 559-223-9802 to get a quote for your next sports trip.

Merced Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Merced wedding receptions regularly use venues across a wide geographic spread — a church ceremony in central Merced, a reception at a vineyard property in the Merced River wine corridor, and a hotel block in a different part of town entirely. Asking guests to self-navigate that route on a Saturday evening, find parking at each stop, and make it home safely is a lot to put on a wedding invitation. A Merced wedding shuttle bus handles all of it with a clean pickup-and-drop-off loop, so guests arrive together and leave on schedule.
A 15–35 passenger minibus is the standard fit for guest shuttles between a hotel block and a venue — comfortable, easy to load, and maneuverable enough for the tighter driveways at estate and ranch properties outside the city. A Sprinter limo is a strong pick for the wedding party itself on the day of the ceremony. For larger guest lists, a 40- or 50-passenger charter bus makes one clean run rather than multiple loops.
Call 559-223-9802 early — spring and fall Saturday dates in Merced fill fast.

Merced Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Merced River wine region — anchored by wineries along the corridor between Merced and Mariposa — is a legitimate wine country destination that most Central Valley visitors overlook in favor of Napa or Paso Robles. That means shorter tasting room lines, easier reservations, and a much more relaxed experience. Chesley Winery and other Merced County producers offer tastings along routes that wind through agricultural land on two-lane roads with no shoulder and zero rideshare coverage once you are 15 minutes outside of town.
A Merced winery tour bus rental is the practical answer — no one in the group has to stay sober to drive back on CA-140, the bus handles the rural route between stops, and everyone gets back to Merced without the late-night scramble. A 20- to 25-passenger party bus is the popular pick for winery crawls, with weekend rates running roughly $275–$375 per hour. For downtown pub crawls through Merced's Main Street corridor, the same bus size works and keeps the group together between stops.
Call 559-223-9802 to build your itinerary.

You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Partybusinfresno.com?
Partybusinfresno.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation. It is not a bus company and does not own or operate any vehicles. It gives you one place to fill out a trip request and compare vehicles, amenities, and pricing from a network of transportation companies serving Merced and the surrounding Central Valley — so you see your options in one shot instead of calling a dozen companies one at a time.
How does Partybusinfresno.com work?
Enter your trip details — date, group size, pickup and drop-off locations — into the online form or call 559-223-9802. You will get pricing and vehicle options back in under 30 seconds. How much does a party bus cost in Merced?
Merced party bus rental prices vary based on vehicle size, day of the week, and how long you need the bus. As a general planning guide: a minibus runs roughly $200–$275 per hour on weekends, a 25-passenger party bus runs approximately $275–$375 on weekend evenings, and a full charter bus typically ranges from $200–$350 per hour. These are ranges — the actual number moves with your specific date, headcount, and route.
Fill out the form or call 559-223-9802 and you can have pricing for your actual trip in about a minute.
How far is it from Merced to Yosemite Valley, and can a bus make that run?
Yosemite Valley is approximately 75 miles east of Merced via CA-140 — about a 1.5- to 2-hour drive depending on season and traffic. Yes, charter buses and minibuses in the network make that run regularly. Peak Yosemite season runs June through August, and CA-140 through the Merced River Canyon can back up significantly on summer weekends.
Booking a charter bus for a Yosemite group trip means your group rides together from Merced and arrives without anyone stressing the mountain road. Note that Yosemite Valley has specific vehicle length and access restrictions on certain roads — confirm your bus's planned route with the provider when you book.
What is the best vehicle size for a UC Merced group event?
It depends on headcount. For groups of 15–35 heading to an on-campus event or shuttling between the UC Merced campus and a downtown Merced hotel block, a minibus is the right fit — easy to load, good for the campus road network, and cost-effective per seat. For larger groups of 40 or more, a full charter bus makes more sense and significantly lowers the cost per person.
Either way, compare options through the quote form and you will see both vehicle types side by side.
Can I get a bus for a Merced County Fair group trip?
Yes, and it is worth planning ahead. The Merced County Fair runs 10 days each June, and the neighborhood around the fairgrounds on Martin Luther King Jr Way gets genuinely congested on peak weekend afternoons. Parking on-site fills early, and surrounding residential streets have permit restrictions that snag visitors who do not plan ahead.
A charter bus or minibus drops the group at the fairgrounds entrance directly and handles pickup when your group is ready to leave — no parking cost, no circulation loop. Book at least a few weeks before your fair date; demand for group transportation during fair week is real.
Is a Sprinter van enough for a small group airport run from Merced to FAT?
For groups of 8–14 with standard luggage, a Sprinter van is the right call — comfortable, direct, and significantly cheaper per seat than splitting into multiple rideshares for a 60-mile highway run. If your group is 15 or more, or traveling with oversized bags or equipment, step up to a minibus for the luggage storage. Either way, the run from Merced to Fresno Yosemite International on CA-99 takes approximately 50–65 minutes without traffic.
Call 559-223-9802 to confirm vehicle availability for your departure date.
How far in advance should I book a party bus in Merced?
For most Merced events, booking 4–8 weeks out gives you good vehicle selection and competitive pricing. For high-demand dates — UC Merced graduation weekend in May, Merced County Fair in June, prom season in April and May, and any summer weekend tied to Yosemite travel — book 3–6 months in advance. Prom in particular is the tightest window: demand across Merced, Atwater, and Livingston high schools compresses into a six-week stretch, and buses that are available in January at standard rates may be gone or priced significantly higher by March.
The earlier you call, the more options you have. 559-223-9802 is available every day of the year.
Popular Merced Party Bus Destinations
Merced sits at the edge of one of the most visited natural wonders in the world and at the center of a Central Valley event calendar that fills up faster than most people expect. Here are six destinations that Merced group trips hit most often — and what you need to know about getting there.

Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Valley is approximately 75 miles east of Merced via CA-140, following the Merced River Canyon through El Portal to the valley floor. It is one of the most visited national parks in the country, and summer weekends mean CA-140 traffic backs up significantly through the canyon — a two-lane road with no realistic passing options. From June through August, Yosemite may require advance reservations for vehicle entry through the Yosemite Valley Timed Entry system; confirm current requirements at the official Yosemite National Park reservations page before your visit date.
A charter bus drops the group at Valley Visitor Center or Yosemite Village without anyone navigating the canyon road. Group transportation from Merced to Yosemite books up fast for July and August — build in at least 6–8 weeks of lead time for summer dates.
Address: Yosemite Valley Visitor Center — 9035 Village Dr, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389

Castle Air Museum
Castle Air Museum sits on the former grounds of Castle Air Force Base in Atwater — about 7 miles north of downtown Merced at 5050 Aviation Ave — and houses one of the largest collections of historic military aircraft in the western United States, with more than 70 aircraft displayed outdoors across a large paved exhibit area. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, and group visits are common for school field trips, military reunions, and aviation enthusiast clubs. The outdoor exhibit layout means wide, flat ground for walking between aircraft — manageable for all ages but long enough that groups with mobility considerations should plan accordingly.
The parking area accommodates large vehicles comfortably, and there is no surrounding congestion to fight. A minibus or charter bus is easy to stage nearby during the visit. Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 6–17; group rates are available by contacting the museum directly.
Address: 5050 Aviation Ave, Atwater, CA 95301

Merced County Fairgrounds
The Merced County Fairgrounds at 900 Martin Luther King Jr Way hosts the annual Merced County Fair each June — a 10-day event that draws big crowds to livestock competitions, carnival rides, live music, and agricultural exhibits. On peak weekend afternoons, Martin Luther King Jr Way backs up in both directions, and on-site parking fills well before early evening. Residential streets immediately surrounding the fairgrounds have posted permit restrictions, catching out-of-town visitors who park there expecting to walk in.
A bus drops the group directly at the fairgrounds entrance off MLK Jr Way and avoids the parking search entirely. Outside of fair season, the fairgrounds hosts concerts, swap meets, and community events throughout the year — check the official Merced County Fair website for current event dates before you book.
Address: 900 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Merced, CA 95341

Table Mountain Casino Resort
Table Mountain Casino Resort is one of the most popular casino destinations for Central Valley group trips, located in Friant — approximately 55 miles south of Merced on a route that runs CA-99 south to CA-41 north. The casino floor covers more than 2,000 gaming positions, and the resort includes multiple dining options and a hotel. The approach to Table Mountain via CA-41 is a two-lane mountain road through Millerton Lake State Recreation Area — manageable for passenger vehicles but not something a caravan of individual cars handles smoothly on a busy Saturday night.
A charter bus or party bus from Merced handles the route cleanly, stages in the casino's large vehicle parking area while the group is inside, and gets everyone back to Merced without anyone watching the clock. Read the Table Mountain Casino bus rental guide for route and drop-off specifics. Call 559-223-9802 to book your group trip.
Address: 777 Jackpot Lane, Friant, CA 93626 | Phone: 559-223-9802

Save Mart Center at Fresno State
Save Mart Center on the Fresno State campus at 2650 E Shaw Ave seats approximately 15,500 for concerts and sporting events, making it the largest indoor venue within a reasonable drive of Merced. On major concert nights, parking on and around the Fresno State campus fills within the first 45 minutes of lot openings, and the streets surrounding Shaw Avenue back up significantly at load-out. CA-99 northbound back toward Merced after a weeknight show can add 20–30 minutes to what is normally a 50-minute drive, depending on when you leave.
A Merced charter bus to Save Mart Center drops the group at the designated commercial vehicle area and picks up at a pre-arranged time, eliminating the post-show rideshare queue entirely. Check the Save Mart Center bus guide for current drop-off logistics. Call 559-223-9802 for group concert transportation pricing.
Address: 2650 E Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93710

Applegate Park and Zoo
Applegate Park is Merced's largest city park — 23 acres along M Street between 25th and Yosemite Avenue in central Merced — and it is home to Applegate Zoo, one of the few remaining free admission municipal zoos in California. The zoo houses more than 150 animals and is a consistent destination for school field trips, family reunions, and community group events. Parking along M Street and the surrounding residential blocks is limited on weekend afternoons when family visitors and youth sports events at the adjacent fields compete for the same spots.
A minibus or small charter bus drops the group at the park entrance on M Street and can easily stage at the nearby lot while the group visits. For school groups, the zoo's education department offers guided programs — contact the City of Merced Parks and Recreation to arrange group admission in advance.
Address: 1045 W 25th St, Merced, CA 95340
